RBI Recruitment Offers National Scholarships For Exceptional Candidates
Reserve Bank of India rolls out the vacancies time to time for various posts around the country. Since RBI is a governing authority for all banks, applicants are very interested in getting a job in RBI for good working standards and high pay scales. The RBI Recruitment for 2012 offers jobs for candidates above 10+2 who are pursuing the Undergraduate studies. The candidates who have higher degrees are not eligible for these exams. A total number of 150 scholars are awarded with the scholarships yearly under this program. Age of the candidate should be between 18 to 23 years in order to appear for this exam. There are few other direct recruitment exams also run by the Reserve bank of India. The age and educational qualification vary in these cases as per the requirement. Based on skills the minimum required qualification starts from a plain graduation to Masters and PhD levels. These are the majorly the finance and the management positions. The Bank also arranges some pre-examination preparation for this kind of examination for SC/ST/PH candidates, which is free of cost and available at the centers of Reserve bank of India.
The RBI Recruitment wing conducts this exam in 11 regional languages other than Hindi and English. These regional languages are Malayalam, Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Gujarati, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil, Urdu and Oriya. It is always conducted on 100 locations in Different cities. The written exam is objective type and many questions related to general awareness and RBI functions. The Banking trends prevailing in India, The economy and financial overview is also an integral part of the question paper. The question paper is of ninety minutes and the accuracy with speed is checked in this exam. The selected candidates can be placed anywhere in India but the location preference is kept in mind. The selected candidates are required to complete the assignments and projects, which are allocated to them within a reasonable time. A Monthly Stipend is given to each candidate and it is calculated on pro rata basis. During this on the job training, the performance of the employee is checked time to time. As and when the authorities feel that the candidate is suitable for handling the operations, the candidate is given the posting. This On the Job training is also subjected to a time limit, that is to say that a candidate must have to start performing before the time runs out. After the completion of on the job training, the candidates become permanent employee of RBI.
